This race is must-win if we want to slow gun violence across America

In Congressional candidates these days, I see two types of people: (a) folks like Josh Remillard, who have the courage to try to end gun violence, and (b) everyone else.

This matters. A lot. So please join us by donating to Josh's campaign today.

This isn't about anything more than a corrupt system that failed victims like my daughter Jaime, who died in 2018's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting – and how it has kept us from taking meaningful action.

Josh gets that. It's one of the reasons why he's running, and it's why I am honored to be supporting his campaign to defeat one of the NRA's favorites in Congress, Madison Cawthorn.

Please chip in now to make gun safety a priority in Congress.

Cawthorn is going to try to paint Josh as being anti-gun, against the constitution, or as someone who has no idea what he's talking about.

That couldn't be further from the truth. Josh is a trained soldier who served our country with distinction in the Army for 8 years, including two tours of combat duty. When it comes to guns and gun safety, he knows a lot.

Madison Cawthorn sees guns as toys, or worse, as props in a sickening campaign of division that glorifies the threat of bloodshed and demonizes anyone who'd step up to make our streets and our schools safer.

I'm looking forward to working with Josh over the coming months and years, because I am wholly convinced that he is going to be one of the next big players in actually solving this crisis.

The first step is defeating Madison Cawthorn. And your grassroots donation of $3 right now, before the end of the year, matters a lot – especially since, as an incumbent, Cawthorn's going to have a lot of big-money backers.

I appreciate you joining me in this work. Not just in my daughter's memory, but to save as many lives as we can by making our communities safer for everyone.
